The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) has proposed new QA standards for the collection and analysis of water quantity data which are required to be reported back to FDEP. Additionally, rule revisions are proposed to update FDEP SOPs and address miscellaneous, minor revisions. FDEP conducted public workshops on September 28 and September 29, 2016, on the proposed rule revisions. If requested timely, a rule adoption hearing will be held on April 5, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at the Bob Martinez Center, 2600 Blair Stone Road, Room 609, in Tallahassee. Please review the attached rule revisions and let the MAF office know no later than March 29 if you would be inclined to request a hearing.
